Project & Planning
PTA Landscapes Projects involve a simple 3 step approach

Step 1 Consultation
Step 2 Survey and Design
Step 3 Construction.
Consultation
When you are considering a project, contact the PTA Landscapes team and our project coordinator will visit to discuss your needs, timing and budget. There are a number of issues that need to be addressed and analysed at this stage some of which are listed below:
- Customer Needs & Wants
- Budget and Design
- Planning and Timing
- Existing Conditions and Services
- Surfaces and Materials
- Safety Monitoring and Potential for future Additions
- Conservation of resources and Maintenance Requirements
- Accessibility and Aesthetics
- Sustainability/Environmental Issues
- Usage and Vandalism
After consultation PTA Landscapes will follow up with a landscape fee proposal for a survey and design based on the discussions, requirements and areas ascertained during the consultation.
Survey and Design
Once you are happy to proceed, the PTA Landscapes team will survey your site and prepare detailed plans and drawings. These are then thoroughly costed and submitted with a detailed project timing plan.
The survey is a drawing of existing conditions onsite and is an essential element to the design process. This drawing identifies - All existing features, buildings, structures and elements.
- Spot levels throughout the school indicating level changes
- Pits and services
- Existing vegetation, materials and surfaces
Using all the information gathered from the consultation and the feature survey we then prepare the landscape design. These drawings include concept plans and elevations showing suggested landscape options, materials and planting within budget. They are set out so they are easily read and understood but at the same time are full of details. The drawings are then quantity surveyed and priced by PTAs estimating team which will produce a cost analysis of the works.
On the completion and compilation of these works, PTAs project coordinator will organise a time with you to come and present the final plans and cost analysis for your approval.
Construction
Once plans and costings are approved, PTA Landscapes will then administer, manage and construct your landscape to its full completion and final handover. We pride ourselves on our quality driven approach, coupled with an unrivalled expertise and attention to detail.
